# Coverage and limits

> Check released tickers and understand known coverage gaps.

## How scope works

Coverage expands only after source authorization, immutable Evidence, extraction, automated validation, and release gates clear.

BeliefState does not promise a fixed all-market universe. A ticker or source can be absent because evidence is unavailable, not authorized, unresolved, or not yet released.

## Check coverage

Use discovery endpoints before a paid or time-sensitive workflow.

* [List released belief tickers](/api-reference/tickers/find-tickers-with-available-research)
* [Inspect source-index coverage](/api-reference/sources/find-research-sources-by-name-domain-or-source-id)
* [Verify workspace access](/api-reference/access/check-api-access-credit-balance-and-usage-metering)

## Coverage limits

A released record reflects the authorized evidence BeliefState has observed, not every public or private belief in the market. Released coverage can still be partial or stale. Check each response's `data_status`, source and observation dates, warnings, and citations before using it. Market observations alone do not establish that an investor thesis or its conditions are current.

> Investor consensus covers tracked public investors. It is not market-wide analyst consensus, and it never implies a private portfolio position.

## Agent feedback

Report unclear, stale, or incorrect documentation through [BeliefState support](https://beliefstate.ai/contact). Include this page URL and the smallest reproducible detail.
